The Virtual Colleagues Shortlisted for Two Categories at the Small Business Awards

We are delighted to announce that The Virtual Colleagues (TVC) has been shortlisted as a finalist in two prestigious categories at this year’s Small Business Awards (SBA)Best Home-Based Business and Female Entrepreneur of the Year.

Founded by Jess Warr, TVC has grown from a one-woman idea into a thriving UK-based virtual assistant agency supporting ambitious business owners across multiple industries. The recognition from the SBA is a testament to the team’s dedication, creativity, and the strong partnerships built with clients who trust TVC to help their businesses thrive.

“Running a business often feels like changing a tyre while the car’s still moving — full of bumps, hurdles, and late-night ‘what am I doing?’ moments,” said Jess. “That’s why moments like this matter. They remind us to pause, reflect, and celebrate the wins, big and small. I’m incredibly proud of our team and grateful to our clients for letting us be part of their journeys.”

The Best Home-Based Business category recognises organisations that demonstrate innovation, growth, and impact while operating flexibly from home. The Female Entrepreneur of the Year category celebrates inspiring women who are driving businesses forward and making a meaningful difference in their industries.

Being shortlisted across two categories highlights the strength of TVC’s mission: to empower business owners to reclaim time, delegate with confidence, and focus on what they love most — while TVC handles the rest.

Jess added: “A huge thank you to the Small Business Awards for recognising the work we do, and congratulations to all the other finalists. It’s an honour to be shortlisted alongside so many inspiring businesses.”

The winners of the Small Business Awards will be announced later this year.
